Lane Kiffin is hilarious. First, he bad mouths the defending national champion and more talented Florida Gators.

He predictably loses.

I get it. You try to fire up your team and your base. Kiffin is not the first to talk trash, although his quote today puts him in a new class all by himself.

Reacting to the story of Florida isolating several players and taking some precautions against H1N1, Kiffin had a great quote via ESPN.com:

"I don't know. I guess we'll wait and after we're not excited about a performance, we'll tell you everybody was sick."

That performance he was talking about was pretty weak. It was, however, good enough to beat Lane's team! Lane is so lucky he has his dad there to run his defense and Florida didn't drop 60 on them. I have never seen anyone talk like this after a loss.

Florida is going to stay pretty good, and they are going to beat Tennessee every year in the foreseeable future. Florida could have swine flu, bird flu, dog flu, or fish flu; they are still going to beat Tennessee and Lane needs to stop motivating them to pop some Vitamin Cs, rub on some Vix Vapor Rub, and get healthy before next year's beat-down.
