After two full seasons of wearing the golden dome helmet, Jimmy Clausen has finally arrived in the eyes of critics like myself and Notre Dame fans as well. Following a season of underachieving and trip to the Hawaii bowl, Clausen decided to rededicate to becoming a better passer and with that, he held a three day workout session at his house where he invited all of his favorite targets to work on routes and timing. Those guys were, his two receivers Michael Floyd and Golden Tate, as well a his tight end Kyle Rudolph. In his first game this season he put up an astounding performance in which he threw for four touchdowns and 315 yards on only 15 completions for a whopping 303.7 QB rating. This is the Jimmy Clausen Notre Dame fans and alumni have been waiting for as currently he has thrown for 951 yards and 9 touchdowns with get this zero interceptions. So to those heisman voters out there, make room for this guy because the numbers can only better with a favorable schedule ahead of them, with the only true test being USC. Now lets see if he can bring the winning tradition as well as make the seat a little less hotter for Charlie Weis.
