Peria Jerry: Out For Season
(Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)
Falcons defensive tackle Peria Jerry, the team’s first-round draft pick from Mississippi, will be placed on injured reserve after suffering a season-ending right knee injury in Atlanta’s victory over Carolina.
Jerry’s injury is more bone-related and not a torn ACL.
He should be ready to go by next summer.
Thomas Johnson will move into the starting role, coach Mike Smith said.
Losing Jerry won't be that big of a loss to me.
I think Thomas Johnson is better than Jerry at this point anyways.
