The Manchester Derby on Sept. 20 had many memorable moments, and yet another memory will be added on, but it had nothing to do with the match.

After the match was over, Manchester City forward Craig Bellamy got involved in a confrontation with a Manchester United supporter who escaped onto the Old Trafford pitch and got into an angry exchange with Bellamy.

During the exchange, Bellamy appeared to have shoved the person in the face before Man United defender Rio Ferdinand came in and broke the two up before security officials could get there.

In an issued statement by Manchester police, the police stated that the fan ran onto the pitch and confronted Bellamy, and the police are currently still investigating this incident.

An FA spokesman stated that they are currently investigating the incident, and they will be looking into the referee's match report.

This is the second investigation within eight days that the FA is investigating an incident with a Manchester City player as on Sept. 12, former Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor was involved in two separate incidents during the Man City-Arsenal match, and he has already been suspended for three matches for his stomp on Robin Van Persie.

The FA will also investigate a coin that was thrown from the crowd during the same match that hit Man City defender Javier Garrido, and was believed to be thrown at Carlos Tevez during his first match back at Old Trafford after leaving Man United for Man City during this summer.
