My Formal Apology to The Miami Hurricanes

Have you ever been wrong before? It happened to me.

I would like to extend a formal apology to the Miami Hurricanes and all of their fans who read my article last month where I stated that Randy Shannon wouldn’t be retained next year and that Miami would start out 0-4.

JaCory Harris seems to be the real deal with his stellar performances through the air against an FSU team that just got through embarrassing BYU and a Georgia Tech team who was favored to win the ACC.

Do I think that Miami is ready to contend nationally? Not quite yet, but man they have looked impressive to start the season. Another strong recruiting class, and who knows?

Do I think that Miami can beat Oklahoma? I still want to say no, but I’m not going to be putting any money on it.

Either way, Hurricane nation has a lot to be proud of. Their team and coach have been very impressive in 2009 and have caused me to choke my words down with every touchdown pass.

Congratulations Hurricanes.
