BALTIMORE @ SAN DIEGO (-3) SUNDAY 4:15PM PICK: BALTIMORE (+3)

The Ravens should be able to take advantage of a depleted offense as LaDanian Tomlinson is out. Joe Flacco after having a career day against the Chiefs last week, they should have no problem torching the secondary of the Chargers, who were quite suspect against the Raiders on Monday. If the Ravens can control the game by running the ball and keeping the Chargers defense on edge, they should win outright. I also like the UNDER 40 in this game.

TRENDS:

TAMPA BAY @ BUFFALO (-4.5) SUNDAY 4PM PICK: BUFFALO (-4.5)

Although the Bills had a loosing effort on Monday, the performance was pretty impressive. They showed in the first half that they could stop a balanced offense that the Patriots possesed. It should be much easier to stop a run heavy offense by the Bucs especially that reciever Antonio Bryant is out with injury. If Fred Jackson can be effective once again Buffalo should win by at least a touchdown in a scrappy affair.

TRENDS:

CAROLINA @ ATLANTA (6.5) SUNDAY 1PM PICK: ATLANTA (-6.5)

Atlanta comes into this one on the back of a great defensive performance in week 1. Carolina on the other hand come into this one after a dreadful performance at home against Phily in week 1. With Jake Delhomme struggling to find a rythm it should be easy for the Falcons to stack the box and stop DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. I see the Falcons winning this contest by a touchdown or more at home.

TRENDS:

To recap my picks this weekend:

OAK(+3),TEN(-6.5),NE(-4.5),BAL(+3),BUF(-4.5),ATL(-6.5)

TOTALS: NEW ENGLAND/NEW YORK JETS (OVER 45.5), BALTIMORE/SAN DIEGO (UNDER 40)
