Cavaliers better pull out the Checkbook this Off-season

As we all know the Cavs have, in my opinion, the second-best player in the league in Lebron James. After Lebron, none of the other players really stand out.

Big Z is a quality player and Boobie Gibson will be a great three-point threat. After those three players, you see a lot of has-beens or never-will-be players on the roster.

Everyone has figured out at this point that the mid-season trade did not work out. Lebron has called for a host of new talent on his team, and I think this may be the off-season he gets it.

If you've been paying attention to the free agent market, you have noticed that Antwaan Jamison will be on the market this year. And what better fit for him than in Cleveland?

The Cavs have desperately needed a scoring power forward, and that's just what Jamison is. Jamison will be most likely looking for a big pay-day, and since the only big money the Cavs have tied up is in Lebron, they should be able to make a play for him.

In addition, players like Iverson and Baron Davis can terminate their contract and move somewhere else. Iverson will be a better match with Lebron than Carmelo because the Cavs have the ability and drive to win, something the Nuggets lacked.

Iverson, Jamison, and Lebron would be too expensive unless one was willing to take a pay cut. Imagine the best driving SF ever and the best driving play-maker ever in Iverson on one team.

If they can afford those three players, the Cavs could win a championship in the next three to five years.
