Was This Supposed to Be Florida's "Ole Miss Wake-Up Call" of 2009?

I have a lot of questions ... for one, why didn't the Gators clobber the Vols to the extremes we all expected? The line was 30 and the Gators didn't come close.

Did the team get too much of themselves? Have they been reading what we, their rabid fans, have been writing in blogs/articles? Did they under-estimate the Vols?

Was this the week they were supposed to lose - the unexpected upset comparable to that which was lost to Ole Miss in 2008? I mean, check out USC losing to Washington! Or, that Texas also couldn't come close to their 20-point spread over Texas Tech. Or, that BYU was supposed to beat FSU by 9 - but FSU won.

All of the questions above can go unanswered so long as the Gators realized that this was the wake up call of the 2009 season w/o the mark in the L column.
