A giant has apparently fallen!

Washington has beaten USC 16-13 and though the quarterback mess USC had to fight through today, starting Corp instead of their true freshman quarterback Barkley, may have some people doubting Washington's talent. The Trojans ultimately lost to a good looking Washington team if USC fans can say so themselves.

Besides Sarkisian there are 5 coaches with ties to USC. As a USC fan it is hard to hate a team the was win-less last year and then sees success with an almost all USC coaching staff.

Sarkisian and Carroll had decent ties to one another before today's game but I'm sure that's all gone now. Sarkisian has brought Washington into the big time with this one win. As for anything else down the road we'll have to see.

Though Washington played a great game and has great players they played a USC team that ended up short handed. How will they handle a ranked team at full strength? Also I'm sure the focus on beating an old team from a coaches perspective added some intensity to everything Washington did leading up to this week.

Can Sarkisian keep this intensity going?

Washington's quarterback Jake Locker will be a force to reckon with for any team. Able to run and throw defenses will have a tough time containing a Washington offense that now has some huge swagger.

Washington has tasted what it's like to win, and win big they did!
