Dr. Bob Previews WASHINGTON STATE (+6) Vs. SMU

SMU (-6.0) 31 WASHINGTON ST. 28
Washington State looks much better offensively this season, averaging a respectable 5.4 yppl, but their defense has been atrocious in allowing 8.7 yards per play to Stanford and Hawaii.
SMU isn't as good offensively as the Cougars' first two opponents, but they should score enough points to win this game.
My ratings actually favor SMU by 6 points, which is right on the number, but the Mustangs apply to a negative 55-104-3 ATS situation and I'll lean with Washington State based on that.
