Vanderbilt is still offensively challenged (just 3.3 yards per play against LSU last week), but Mississippi State has been bad defensively (6.1 yppl allowed this season, including 7.2 yppl to Auburn), so the Commodores should score enough points to cover thanks to another fine defense that's yielded just 3.8 yppl and held a better than average LSU attack to just 4.8 yppl.

Mississippi State's offense does look improved (5.5 yppl against Jacksonville State and Auburn), but I still rate that unit as worse than average and I think they'll struggle against Vandy's solid defense.

My ratings favor Vanderbilt by 10 points and Miss State applies to a negative 16-51 ATS game 3 situation.
