Will Former WWE Star Lashley Make an Impact in TNA?

This Sunday marks the Official TNA in ring debut of Bobby Lashley, and who is his opponent? Rhino

This is a strange match up as Rhino is a little over the hill where wrestling is concerned where as lashley is just now reaching his physical peak.  Rhino has been a great performer for years i just wonder what he will be able to do to keep up with Lashleys quicker pace.

Lashley is a hot commodity for TNA but he will only bring in the big bucks if he appears on TV in a wrestling role more often.  He has literally been beat up once and beat up some people once and thats it.

TNA is banking on his role this Sunday to bring in more PPV buys, but will having a guy who hasnt actually wrestled for the company yet bring in more viewers, Dixie Carter seems to think so, but Im still not sure.

While I only watch the TNA product if my DVR has space i am rather familiar with their roster and what talents they have.

My hope is for TNA to one day be able to compete with WWE, but taking WWEs scraps and trying to make them interesting again just isnt working.  Kurt Angle being the one exception.

What are your thoughts on Lashley in TNA?
