Top 10 Craziest NFL Fans

Last week when I was watching the Chargers vs. Raiders Monday night game I realized that Raiders’ fans are loyal, their team has six straight awful seasons and they still cheer in every game like it was the Super Bowl. You will see what I mean if you watch the Raiders vs Chiefs game this weekend. I am ranking the Top 10 NFL craziest fans by taking into account the stadium atmosphere, travel factor, and loyalty when their team sucks as my criteria’s.

10. Browns: Cleveland fans are awesome tailgaters and the "Browns Backers" are one of the NFL's largest and well organized fan groups. Perhaps the most visible Browns fans are those that can be found in the Dawg Pound. A study noted that Browns fans filled 99.8% of the seats at Cleveland Browns Stadium during the last seven seasons

9. Bills: Buffalo lost four straight Super Bowls and the fans are still present.

8. Titans: They were spoiled by an early success but since the team had a great performance last season the stadium atmosphere is now a real factor again.

7. Chiefs: Kansas City has the sixth-smallest media market in the NFL, but they have the second-highest attendance average over the last decade. They also have 141 consecutive sellouts.

6. Patriots: If you’re willing to join a season-ticket waiting list of 50,000 people you deserve to be in the Top Ten. Of course they took quite a hit after losing their perfect season in the 2007 Super Bowl but like the players, they’re looking for revenge.

5. Giants: Their fans will tailgate in any weather. It’s a shame they have to share a stadium with the Jets.

4. Raiders: Despite the gray and black, the Raiders fans are more fun and colorful than any other NFL team. Every Oakland game looks like a Halloween party.

3. Eagles: This is not an easy crowd to please. They are not blind at all; they could go against their own players if things don’t go right. They are so unpleasant that they even boo Santa.

2. Packers: Lambeau Field tickets have been sold out since 1960. The cruel Green Bay winter is not an excuse to miss a Packers’ game.

1. Steelers: The season ticket waiting list is more than six years and the consecutive sellout streak of 299 games makes the "Terrible Towels" the NFL's most craziest fans.
