Gerogia Tech Has No Option For Miami's Revenge

Three games in twelve days, four straight wins against Miami, knocking Miami out of the ACC championship game last season....... Say it any way you like, but the realization of it is that Miami out played Georgia Tech 33-17 Thursday night and the score is very misleading given the poor play of the Yellow Jackets. For Miami this was purely about revenge and this was one game the Hurricanes were certainly looking forward to. After being embarrassed by Georgia Tech last season Miami specifically wanted to play the Yellow Jackets early in the season, under the lights, and on a Thursday night. On top of that I think that Miami also wanted to give Tech their first loss of the season too. Mission Accomplished!

I expect Georgia Tech to fall to the bottom of the polls, while Miami is likely to move up several spots. The Yellow Jackets (2-1) are in a must win situation as they play host to North Carolina (2-0) on September 26th. Another loss in the ACC Coastal Division would certainly hurt Tech's chances of playing for the ACC championship in December.
