MICHIGAN (-24) 42 Eastern Michigan 14
Eastern Michigan is having trouble with their new offense, which has quarterback Andy Schmitt under center instead of taking the majority of snaps from the shotgun formation has he's done the first 3 years of his career.

The Eagles have averaged just 4.6 yppl in games against Army and Northwestern and Schmitt has averaged just 4.2 yards per pass play, so I'm not sure he's capable of taking advantage of a soft Michigan pass defense.

There is certainly nothing wrong with Michigan's offense with freshman quarterback Tate Forcier running the spread offense the way it was intended to be run. Forcier became a star last week in leading the Wolverines past Notre Dame in a thrilling game and he should post big numbers this week against a sub-par Eastern Michigan defense. Michigan has averaged 435 yards per game at 5.9 yppl in their first two games against stronger defensive teams and they should be able to win big here if they can avoid a letdown.

Eastern Michigan applies to a negative 16-51 ATS game 3 situation, so I'll lean with the Wolverines to continue their spread covering streak.
