As you know, CM Punk is currently the World Heavyweight Champion. It seems that he is supposedly engaged in a long-term fued with The Undertaker because of what went down at Breaking Point. Now, if you've been keeping up to date with what's been going on recently, you know that Batista has announced that he is heading to Smackdown. But enough of that, on to why I'm writing this article.
Now, as we all know, the WWE has a new pay per view that is scheduled to commense on October 25. This up-and-coming show happens to be called "Bragging Rights." It is being reported that the ppv's theme is all triple-threat matches, featuring Raw v. Smackdown v. ECW. The fans will get to vote on the the match participants, match stipulations , guest referees, etc. (reminds you of something, doesn't it?).
Superstars from Raw, Smackdown, and ECW will be on the show including a Champion of Champions match between, WWE Champion John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion BATISTA, and ECW Champion Christian for the championship of your choosing.
Now, I don't know if this information is 100% accurate, but I have to say that the WWE has had a history of spoiling fueds and ppv outomes by advertising prematurely.
Let's just hope that this is just another attempt to keep us guessing on how things will shape up on Smackdown. I think the only positive that could come out of this situation is that Christian could actually be in contention for a WWE/World Title. Personally, I do not want Batista getting involved in the Punk-Taker feud whatsoever, but it looks like that it is inevitable.
Feel free to leave any comments about this situation. Thank you for reading.
