After two costly divorces, one home foreclosure and a failed book sequel, Jose Canseco is ready to mix it up in the boxing ring.

According to numerous sources, the ex-major league MVP is going to fight former Philadelphia Eagles kick returner and two-time Pro Bowler Vai Sikahema.  The fight will be July 12 at Atlantic City's Bernie Robbins Stadium.

At the tender age of 43, Canseco appears to still be in good shape, at 6' 4" and 240 pounds and will have a considerable height and weight advantage when he rumbles in New Jersey.  Sikahema is listed at 5'9" and weighs 190 pounds.

Some reports say that the ex-Eagle has some boxing experience and should give the former "Bash Brother" a run for his money. Speaking of money, apparently the winner will get $5,000 and a chance to get their name in the press. Sounds like a winner to me.

However, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Canseco is still trying to weasel a way to get paid.  And hey why shouldn't he?  His two divorces are said to have cost him about $8 million a piece.  Ouch!

It would be funny to see Canseco get his brains beat in a little; maybe it will rattle some sense into his greasy head.

In any event, I don't think I'm going to order the fight on pay per view so I'll just have to rely on the internet to find out what happened.
