Should Major League Baseball Implement Instant Replay?

With the recent on-slaught of missed calls by the boys in blue, as a fan, I am changing my position on instant replay for MLB.

I am now in support of using replay as part of the game. I do not believe that it should be the same as the NFL replay where the field judge goes to the box and reviews the play, and has a conference call with the booth, no. I think the booth should look at the questionable play and send the ruling down to the field.

This type of replay should take under a minute and should clear up 99% of questionable calls.

Also, I am not in support of having every questionable play reviewed in every part of the field at every point in the game. Only missed home run/ foul ball calls, fan interference calls and any play that would result in IMMEDIATE points on the board, points that would be scored only during that play.

A replay system would not slow the game down to much, and if the ump's started to enforce the time a pitcher has between pitches as well as how much time a batter has to get into the box, the added time would be a wash.

Instant replay would be good for the game in a time when there has been so much bad for the game...The trouble is going to be finding an impartial video feed to judge off of, there is plenty of room for discussion there.
