GREEN BAY (-9.0) 23 Cincinnati 17

10:00 AM Pacific Time Sunday, Sep-20

Cincinnati lost for me last week, but they out-played Denver from the line of scrimmage by about the margin I expected, as the Bengals averaged 4.9 yards per play while their good young defense allowed the Broncos just 4.2 yppl until that fluke 87 yard tipped TD pass at the end of the game.

Carson Palmer looked fine in throwing for 7.5 yards per attempt and I still think the Bengals are an underrated team that is decent on offense and good on defense.

Green Bay beat Chicago last Sunday night, but the Packers were out-gained 4.4 yppl to 5.2 yppl and won due to a +4 in turnover margin (all on Jay Cutler interceptions).

Green Bay is better than average on both sides of the ball and they are better than the Bengals, but my ratings only favor the Pack by 6 points.
