PHILADELPHIA (pick) 23 New Orleans 19

The Eagles will be without quarterback Donovan McNabb and backup Kevin Kolb has been a disaster in limited regular season action, averaging a pathetic 2.7 yards per pass play on 49 career pass plays, but the Eagles have the best defense in the NFL and a very good rushing attack.

They also have veteran QB Jeff Garcia to come into the game if Kolb struggles. Garcia knows the system and was 5-1 filling in for McNabb a few years ago. New Orleans has the best offense in the NFL and Drew Brees has been unbelievable in recent years throwing the football, but Philadelphia's great secondary should contain the Saints' pass attack while shutting down their mediocre rushing attack.

My ratings favor Philadelphia by 1 1/2 points with McNabb out, although that is contingent on Kolb being bad (about 5.2 yards per pass play) rather than horrible.

Philly applies to a 78-29-2 ATS situation while the Saints apply to a negative 23-55-2 ATS road letdown situation after last week's easy win over Detroit, so I'll lean with the Eagles and Under.
