Insiders are reporting that Matt Barkley is still unable to throw in practice, increasing the likelihood that he will be held out of Saturday's game against Washington.

Barkley said he attempted a few passes earlier in the day, but described the experience as "pretty bad."

Though some suspect this weekend's game won't be close, Barkley's absence raises the possibility that Huskies will be another test for the young Trojans team, who may also have to play without safety Taylor Mays in the secondary.

Mays injured his knee during Saturday's game against the Buckeyes, and was also held out of practice today.
