Coach Rich Rodriguez said that Denard Robinson will become more of a factor as the season progresses. Tate Forcier also hinted that Robinson will get more snaps against Eastern Michigan.

Rodriguez said that, "Obviously, Tate played very well," but that Robinson is still in the mix. "He's going to be more and more of a factor."

In my mind, the only question is at what position will Robinson get his touches?

Many fans have expressed an interest in seeing him at slot; however, given our lack of quality QB depth this year, it makes no sense to move him there this early in the season. Fans need to remember that Robinson has only been in the offense for a little over a month. He has a lot to learn. And every rep taken at slot is one less taken at QB.

As good as things seem right now, Michigan is one big hit on Forcier away from returning to a QB situation reminiscent of last year.

We'll see where he goes as he learns more of the offense, but for now Denard Robinson needs to get more reps at quarterback.
