There is a great article over at the Yahoo! Sports Blog Dr. Saturday in which Chris Brown of describes the demise of 'Tressel Ball', or in other words, why Ohio State lost a game they could have fairly easily won, considering what USC gave them and what they have available in talent.

I couldn't agree more with Brown's assessment. OSU ran the zone read play for almost seven yards-per-carry against USC in 2008, and did not run it once this year.

OSU has a Vince Young-prototype QB and did nothing to get him running the ball.

OSU has running talent in the backfield in Dan Herron and versatile talent in DeVier Posey and Brandon Saine that can catch and run in space.

I have added to Chris' critique of Ohio State's dismal showing on All Football (my own Web site) due to graphics incompatibilities here.

Please take a look.
