I came across a few cool stats over at Derek Jeter's Legacy on Hub Pages. I decided to add in a few new statistics that are flying under the radar for the 2009 season.

  • Derek is having his lowest K/BB ratio since 1999. He's struck-out 80 times and walked 61.
  • Hits - He's on pace to break the 200 hit mark for the seventh time in his career.
  • Times on Base - Jeter's currently 1st in the American League in Times on Base this season.
  • This season he stolen 26 bags. In 2007+2008 combined he stole 26 bases

Bonus cool career stats:

  • Derek Jeter has never had a batting average below .291
  • He's only posted sub .800 OPS three times in his career
  • He has the 10th most singles of anyone at the age of 35. All-time he stands at 47th
  • He's made over $161 million in salary during his career.
Great year for Jeter. You don't have to like him but you do have to respect his consistency.
