Why Manchester United Don't Need To Go On a Spending Spree!
Despite doing the double this season, the newly crowned European Champions,Manchester United are being linked with a host of players that they might bring to Old Trafford over the summer.
Sevilla's duo of Luis Fabiano and Daniel Alves alongside Sporting Lisbon's duo of Miguel Veloso and Joao Moutinho have been constantly linked with the Red Devils but the questions emerges do United really need to revamp their squad?
I don't think so,Manchester United have absolutely no need to follow the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea.United are definitely going to fight tooth and nail to keep Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
Mikeal Silvestre,Louis Saha,Chris Eagles and Lee Martin may be leaving and Darren Fletcher has also stated that lack of first team football may take him away from Old Trafford.
Despite this looking at the strikers,Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney have been brilliant and are staying,Saha may be leaving but he's been unfit for most of the season anyway.
Even if the French striker departs Manchester United will have the likes of the Angola's striker Alberto Manucho,Frazier Campbell who fired Hull into the Premier League and Danny Wellbeck.Inexperienced?,perhaps they are but Sir Alex does believe in them.
If you look at the midfield,Paul Scholes,Ryan Giggs,Micheal Carrick,Nani,Owen Hargreaves,Park Ji Sung,Cristiano Ronaldo,Darren Fletcher and Anderson are all present and there is hardly any opening.Add to that the likes of Sam Hewson and Ritchie Jones are threatening to break into the first team.
In Defence,United need to keep Evra tied to the club.If Pique and Silvestre both depart then perhaps a defender might be needed for backup.Gary Neville will be returning next season.Wes Brown,Rio Ferdinand,Nemanja Vidic and John O'Shea are also there and with Danny Simpson coming up the ranks, needless to say the future of Manchester United is incredibly bright.
Edwin Van der Sar is still incredibly fit,Thomas Kusczak,Ben Foster and Tom Heaton are also turning up the heat.
DO YOU AGREE THAT MANCHESTER UNITED DON'T NEED TO SPLASH THE CASH TO RETAIN SUPREMACY IN ENGLAND AND EUROPE?
