CHARLOTTE, NC - SEPTEMBER 13: Quarterback Donovan McNabb #5 of the Philadelphia Eagles walks off the field after injuring his knee in the second half of their NFL season opener against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on September 13, 200

Many people have chosen the Eagles as their preseason Super Bowl pick. I have also picked them. I was impressed by them in their game against the Panthers on Sunday. They showed all of us that they are Super Bowl contenders and will make a push at it this year. Lets see what they can do next week!

Enjoy. Thank you for reading. I appreciate it all.

Donovan McNabb Is Still Not Durable

CHARLOTTE, NC - SEPTEMBER 13: Quarterback Donovan McNabb #5 of the Philadelphia Eagles rushes for a touchdown in the second half of their NFL season opener against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on September 13, 2009 in Charlotte, North

Donovan McNabb has had many injuries in his career. They include everything from torn knee ligaments to sports hernias. It seems like every year or so he gets hurt. This year, already, he has broken a rib. Other than his injuries, he has been a great quarterback for us for years.

The Eagles Defense Still Has It

CHARLOTTE, NC - SEPTEMBER 13: Quarterback Jake Delhomme #17 of the Carolina Panthers is sacked by Linebacker Jordan Akeem #56, of the Philadelphia Eagles in the first half of the NFL season opener at Bank of America Stadium on September 13, 2009 in Charl

Due to the recent passing of Eagles Defensive Coordinator, Jim Johnson (RIP), and the injury to their leader on the defensive side of the ball, Stewart Bradley, the Eagles defense was a question mark in peoples heads. They did not show any sign of let down as they picked 5 and caused 7 turnovers.

QB Is A Question Mark For The Eagles Now

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - SEPTEMBER 3: Quarterback Kevin Kolb #4 of the Philadelphia Eagles passes the ball in the first quarter against the New York Jets during the NFL preseason game at Giants Stadium on September 3, 2009 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (P

With the injury to Donovan, what will the Eagles do with the quarter back position? They put in Kevin Kolb, but will he preform well? Michael Vick is still suspended until week 3, Will Donovan be better by then anyway? These are all legitimate questions to ask.

LeSean McCoy Is A Beast

In limited time, this kid averaged 5.1 yards per carry. I'm pretty sure he could start in some cities, but because of Brian Westbrook, he will be a backup in Philly. Future of the Eagles?

Anytime you can beat a playoff team by 28 points, you're doing something right. The Eagles were doing everything right and killed the Panthers. Are the Eagles a playoff team? YES. Are they a Super Bowl team? You soon shall find out! ;)
