The Carolina Panthers football organization has to be wondering about the first results delivered by QB Jake Delhomme on the heals of signing a reported 40+ million dollar contract extension with 20 million of it guaranteed.  Including the nightmare that was the playoff game with the Arizona Cardinals last year, Mr. Delhomme is in the middle of an incredible 11 turnover in 2 game performance after almost single-handedly grounding his team's offence once again with a 4 INT, 1 fumble performance today verses the Philadelphia EaglesCarolina's QB has always been a lock on the position but Panther fans certainly have to wonder after Jake once again looked like meat thrown to Piranha on a warm South American evening as the Eagles shook the very foundation of the Carolina team.  Certainly the quarterback can not be held accountable for the entire failure of the Panthers, but his momentum killing turnovers did much to help the Eagles in holding Carolina to a miserable 169 total net yards of offence.  Unfortunately for Carolina, the game looked even worse than the 38-10 final score looked and the general feeling at Bank of America Stadium was that it is time to start shopping for matching luggage for both Jake Delhomme and his biggest fan, head coach John Fox.  Both must be feeling a bit nervous.  After all, team owner Jerry Richardson has just recently fired BOTH of his own sons.  This writer believes in the old adage; "change is good" and Panther fans seem ready for some serious change in Charlotte, North Carolina.
