If someone asked you to define the league's superstars style of play, could you?
You could tell the person a player has a sweet stroke and can drain the ball from anywhere on the court.
Or you could tell the person that a player is fast as lightning and has the quickest feet in the NBA.
But can you define these player's games with one word? It's harder huh? Here is my attempt!
(Sorry, only a limited number of superstars)
Entry: Kobe Bryant - See Deadly
Bryant has a perfect mix of driving the lane strong and shooting his sweet jumper in his game.
KB24 can also defend, rebound, post up, handle the ball, and dish the ball.
The Black Mamba's ability to do just about anything on the court makes deadly the perfect definition for him
Entry: LeBron James - See Vicious
To put it frankly, James in an absolute beast on the basketball court.
His bulk and frame makes it impossible for defenders to stay in front of him when he charges into the paint like a running back. From there, he throws down a vicious and-1 slam dunk.
This style of play makes vicious a perfect fit for the King.
Entry: Dwyane Wade - See Accelerated
Easily, Wade has the quickest first step in the entire NBA.
With the help of his fluid-like ball-handling skills, D-Wade can drive past anyone in the league and is a superb finisher. If the big-men start to pack the paint, Wade can also do his nasty crossovers and get open for his ever-improving jumper.
Flash's accelerated game always keeps him a step faster and quicker than his opponent.
Entry: Carmelo Anthony - See Forceful
Anthony has the total offensive repertoire. He is like the ultimate mix of a big man's strength and low-post scoring and a guard's speed and outside touch.
This combination usually allows Carmelo to bully smaller defenders and pace by bigger defenders to force himself onto any position on the court.
'Melo usually can do whatever he pleases on the court and that forceful game gets him results.
Entry: Chris Paul - See Crafty
Paul's one of the most interesting players to watch in the NBA.
Chris's fancy ball-handling skills and quick footwork allow him to weave in and out the lane at will. From there, fans get to see creative passes and spiffy floaters.
CP3's imaginative mind shows in his crafty game
Entry: Dwight Howard - See Powerful
Dwight Howard is a man among boys in the NBA.
The way he slams down a thunderous dunk or blocks a shot into the third row is simply bone-shaking.
Superman's game resembles the real man in blue with is powerful game.
Entry: Tim Duncan- See Structural
Duncan may not be the most enthralling big-man in the NBA, but he gets the job done.
Whether it's his classic off-the-backboard jumper or fundamental hooks shots, Tim is a winner and does things the right way.
Timmy D takes great care in making sure his game is structural.
Entry: Brandon Roy - See Slick
Although he is young, Roy is a top-3 shooting guard thanks to his deceptive skills.
You oftentimes find him catching his opponent off-guard and changing gears to blow right by him. Other times, he executes a gorgeous crossover and embarrasses his defender. In the lane, he makes big-man look silly when they attempt block his shot but he refers back to his incredible off-hand.
B-Roy's sneaky and slick style of play makes his game look extra smooth.
