Dana White Is Nothing Less Than Diabolical

With Dana White, how often does he smile to hide a sneer?

Not to suggest that Dana White is an evil man. He may just be a genius and a master at disguising his inner thoughts with his outer expressions and body language. Now that is an art that takes a lot of talent to master.

My fascination with Mr. White is often mistaken by readers as being either hate or envy, neither of which would be the truth.

I am an observer of human behavior because I was trained to be. It is part of my past professional life. A good trait for a writer to have, incidentally.

So as I have mentioned in my articles recently, Dana approves of those who are of use to him and when they no longer are useful, he disses them and cuts them loose. In some special cases, the opposite is also true.

Dana will bemoan how "difficult it is to satisfy BJ Penn," yet he goes out of his way to try to please him anyway. He even gave in to BJ's demands for a super fight with Georges St-Pierre, which many people knew was a big mistake (even before team Penn realized it at the end of round four).

Dana is very quick to criticize others for their mistakes, while making light of his own missteps. Human nature, I suppose, but Dana truly relishes destroying his competitors and perceived enemies.

Thus Dana was cheered by the demise of Pride, Elite XC, and Affliction, even though they had very little chance of offering him much in the way of competition.

Kevin Ferguson, aka "Kimbo Slice," was treated by Dana as the Antichrist when he was still the star in EXC's roster.

"Even my Lightweight champion BJ Penn could beat Kimbo Slice," Dana bragged as if he truly believed the fact.

Whenever reporters asked about the possibility of Kimbo ever fighting for the UFC, Dana replied, "The only way Kimbo Slice will ever fight for the UFC is if he goes through the TUF series and earns it."

So Kimbo is currently in TUF 10 attempting to "fight his way into the UFC."

My statement about Dana White being Diabolical is partly because he, like Superman's nemesis Lex Luther, has streaks of pure genius.

In this case, Dana who did OK BJ Penn's notion of a super fight between Penn and GSP and has flirted with the idea of allowing Anderson Silva to face Georges St-Pierre, may have something really sneaky up his short sleeved tee shirt.

What if, fight fans, Dana finagled to get Kimbo Slice into the UFC, seemingly of Slice's own volition, simply to put him in a big old super fight, the likes of which has never yet been seen?

Well, I have to tell the world, I wouldn't put anything past this 40 year old mastermind of MMA!

So get ready world. Get out your wallets and trusty old credit cards and prepare yourself to put up some of your hard earned cash.

If what I suspect is indeed true, you and I are both going to want to be there when (drum roll please), Dana White and the UFC present (wait for it, wait for it!): Kimbo Slice versus BJ Penn!

Ta dah! Pure, unadulterated genius! And who but DW would have thought of it?
