Nothing against Jerry Glanville, and nothing against his team, and even I’ll admit I was a little worried how the Beavs would handle the Vikings high-octane offense, but the 2009 Oregon State football season starts this Saturday night in Vegas.  The UNLV Rebels’ feature an offense quite similar to Portland State’s, but they have bigger and faster players than The Vikings.

While most Beaver fans look ahead to a matchup against perennial power Cincinnati, and a potential matchup of two teams ranked in the top 25 which could be the biggest preseason game Corvallis has seen in at least ten years, The Rebels are poised to strike an early season blow to Mike Riley’s bunch.
