My 2009 AFC Season Predictions

Mike GreenspireContributor ISeptember 9, 2009

It's almost time for pro football again! Only two days from kickoff, I thought I'd get my picks in real quick! Here they are!

These are my predictions on each AFC team’s 2009 campaign. I will say next to each team their record, playoff status, and what seed they are if they do make the playoffs. Here are my predictions for the 2009 NFL regular season! (I will be using official NFL tie-breaker rules to separate which team gets which seed if two or more teams finish with the same record in conference, division, wild card, etc.)

AFC North
Pittsburgh (14-2, AFC North Champs, #1 seed in AFC Playoffs)
Baltimore (9-7)
Cincinnati (6-10)
Cleveland (2-14)

AFC South
Indianapolis (13-3, AFC South Champs, #2 seed in AFC Playoffs)
Houston (11-5, AFC Wild Card, #5 seed in AFC Playoffs)
Tennessee (10-6)
Jacksonville (6-10)

AFC East
New England (10-6, AFC East Champs, #3 seed in AFC Playoffs)
New York (10-6, AFC Wild Card, #6 seed in AFC Playoffs)
Buffalo (7-9)
Miami (3-13)

AFC West
San Diego (9-7, AFC West Champs, #4 seed in AFC Playoffs)
Kansas City (6-10)
Oakland (5-11)
Denver (3-13)

Let me hear your opinions on my predictions! Where did I go wrong? Where I was right? Where am I not even close?

Thanks for reading.
