Marshall Rumors Rekindled

Shawn DhaniCorrespondent ISeptember 7, 2009

After his reinstatement by the Broncos on Sunday.

Brandon Marshall returned to practice with the team, as per the Denver Post.

Speculation was rampant yesterday upon the Jets' acquisition of Kevin O'Connell that they would turn around and trade him off to the Broncos as part of a deal for Marshall.

Upon O'Connell's recent release from the Patriots.

The Broncos did file a waiver claim for him, but the Lions had higher priority given their 2008 record.

Earlier speculation also had David Harris involved in the trade between the two teams.

An NFL source told the Post on Sunday that no trade involving Marshall is in the works, but the rumors continue to gain steam in some circles.

We'll have more on this as the week goes on.

I think that Marshall will go to the UFL if he is not going to the Jets, which he will.

He will do excellant with the Jets beacause of their rookie star Mark Sanchez from the great USC.

This will be a big opportunity for the Jets to have the great Brandon Marshall
