We now know that Michael Vick will be eligible to play in Week Three. But how will the Eagles continue to finagle their roster until then?

The team decided to keep A.J. Smith on the roster for now, and could still trade him to free up some space.

As it stands, the team is using a roster exemption on Vick, so No. 7 can work out at team facilities and attend meetings, but is ineligible for practice.

By trading Feeley, the team would thus be limited to just two QB's that could take snaps on Sunday.

It's possible they'll wait until Vick's full reinstatement to pull the trigger on a Feeley trade.

Then again, the Eagles might not wait that long to activate Vick. Eagles GM Tom Heckert told the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday that,

"we can make [Vick] active tomorrow, next week, or any time during the suspension. That's not a thing we're stuck with until his suspension is over."

We shall see.
