So much for the youth movement, the Raiders sent a 2011-1st round draft pick to New England for 29 year old D-lineman Richard Seymour.  While he provides an instant boost to the Raiders D-line which needs lots of help, he is in a contract year.  With all the money given to Namdi Asomugha, Shane Lechler, JaMarcus Russell, Darren McFadden and DHB will the Raiders be able to re-sign him or did they just get this guy for one season and lose a 2011 Round 1 draft pick.  A draft pick would be younger and  have a longer duration with the Raiders, but would not be as developed and helpful as a veteran like Richard Seymour, who turns 30 sometime this season.  He is a 5-time Pro-Bowler and has 3 Super Bowl rings.  Now he's on the other side of the Tuck Rule view.
