Breaking News: Oakland trades 2011 1st round draft pick to New England for DE Richard Seymour.

What does this mean? The Oakland Raiders rushing defense has been significantly upgraded and DT William Joseph is worried about his roster spot.

Richard Seymour is 29 years old, but still a top 10 defensive lineman coming from a 3-4 as a DE who'll play DT in a 4-3. He's 6'6" 310 lbs and a beast in run defense. He's immediately an upgrade over Tommy Kelly, Gerrard Warren, or any other DT the Raiders have on their roster and should significantly upgrade the Raiders defense.

What a great start to my Sunday morning! I now expect the Raiders to be a .500 team or better.
