Chiefs Release Zach Thomas
ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have released inside linebacker Zach Thomas. Thomas' agent Drew Rosenhaus told PFT that Thomas plans to continue playing in the NFL.

The Chiefs also released Bernard Pollard, who they tried to trade before they released him. pollard is known for his hit to Tom Brady in the first week of the 2008 season. Pollard has a chance to start on another team.

In addition to the release of Thomas and Pollard, the Chiefs released wide receiver Ashley Lelie. Lelie was a first round pick by the Denver broncos who has moved around the NFL the past couple of years looking for a team to settle into.
