The Oklahoma Sooners, playing the first college game in Jerry Jones Tab Mahal, watched the Big Screen all night. The reason was to see the dumb mistakes they committed on most every drive. Even with Sam Bradford getting hurt right before halftime, they did everything to lose this game. Give BYU credit, they came to play, bent but never broke. Stopping the Sooners inside the 5 yard line, and forcing a field goal, that the coaching staff never should have went for. Play calling was terrible in the !st half for the Sooners, they came out trying to run over BYU, and never opened up the passing game on suspect corners of BYU. One lineman had at least 5 offside penalties alone, killing any momentum the offense could gather. Backup QB Landry Jones, never had a chance as, he was 1st and 20 on his first drives in the game. BYU is a smart veteran team at the skill positions, and even all their mistakes, stayed in the game. They made enough plays to win, against a better team, that lacked discipline for 4 quarters tonight. If Oklahoma plays undisciplined like this I can see 3 or 4 more losses this year with their schedule. Sooners are sure tired of games in Texas now, maybe cupcakes at home, until you can play smart are in order. Terrible display of football to open a Taj Mahal.
