Navy: Defense Came Out With Guns Blazing

Patrick FerliseCorrespondent ISeptember 6, 2009

COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio State Buckeyes played against Navy today at Ohio Field in Columbus, Ohio. This was the first time since 1981 that Ohio State and Navy have competed against each other. Navy showed exemplary defense in today's game shocking spectators and college football fans alike. Ohio State played a dominant game, only once were the Midshipmen leading although they didn't trail by many points. Terrelle Pryor played a decent game until the middle of the fourth quarter when he threw two interceptions caught by the Navy defense and ran for touchdowns. The Buckeyes overpowered the Midshipmen with the final score being 31-27. But Navy definitely has nothing to be ashamed of, they played an impressive game against the number 6 BCS ranked Ohio State. This game was a feat in itself for Navy, and a start of what may be a competitive contender for a BCS bowl game. We will just have to wait and watch.
