The final Oakland Raiders cuts have been made. At 4:00 p.m. P.S.T. the Oakland Raiders announce the final roster.

Here it is:

QB's (3) JaMarcus Russell, Bruce Gradkowski, Charlie Frye

Cut: Jeff Garcia. Coach Tom Cable said that the "other two QBs" supported JaMarcus Russell. "First and foremost we're committed to JaMarcus as our starter ... JaMarcus is our guy." Cable said. He said they have not decided who will be second QB on depth chart.

RB's (6): Darren McFadden, Michael Bush, Justin Fargas, Louis Rankin, Oren O'Neal, Luke Lawton

Cut: Gary Russell, Marcel Reece. Cable said it was a "tough call" between Russell and Rankin, that came down to production. I guess Rankin's injury is not so serious after all.

TE's (3): Zach Miller, Brandon Myers, Tony Stewart

Cut: Darrell Strong, as expected.

WR's (7): Chaz Schilens, Javon Walker, DHB, Louis Murphy, JLH, Todd Watkins, Nick Miller.

Cut: Jonathan Holland will most likely make the practice squad; Nick Miller makes it.

OL (10): Robert Gallery, Mario Henderson, Chris Morris, Cooper Carlisle, Eric Pears, Paul McQuistan, Kalif Barnes, Samson Satele, Cornell Green

Cut: James Marten, Seth Wand, Mark Wilson, John Wade. John Wade receives a waived/injury settlement. Good moves, they have backups for every posisiton. Cable also said that Chris Morris will start at center against the Chargers. He outperformed Satele.

DL (8): Greg Ellis, Jay Richardson, Tommy Kelly, Trevor Scott, Gerard Warren, William Joseph, Desmond Bryant, Matt Shaughnessy

Cut: Ryan Boschetti, Terdell Sands, Greyson Gunheim: All these players are self explanatory. Boschetti is decent, but there is no room.

LB's (6): Kirk Morrison, Ricky Brown, Thomas Howard, Isaiah Ekejiuba, John Alston, Sam Williams

Cut: Morlon Greenwood, Chris O'Neill, Slade Norris, David Nixon: Nixon and Norris will make the practice squad. Sam Williams is better than both of them at this point in time.

DB (8): Nnamdi Asomugha, Chris Johnson, Tyvon Branch, Hirum Eugene, Mike Mitchell, Michael Huff, Stanford Routt, John Bowie

Cut: Jerome Boyd, Darrick Brown, Justin Miller, Rashad Baker, Jason Horton, Mike Hawkins: Bottom line, Bowie outperformed Miller, Miller has turf toe, and Nick Miller is your new kickoff returner. Darrick Brown will make the practice squad. Jerome Boyd will make the practice squad. Baker and Hawkins receive injury/waived settlements.

Your practice squad players are most likely: WR Jonathan Holland,  LB Slade Norris, LB David Nixon, TE Darrell Strong, DB Darrick Brown, DB Jerome Boyd, DL Greyson Gunheim, HB/FB/WR Marcel Reece, and P Ricky Schmitt.

They took it all the way down to 53 players, so this is the squad.

Let me know what you think, Nation. I can't argue with most of them, I like it.
