After round one of the Deutsche Bank championship Steve Stricker and Jim Furyk lead the pack.

Stricker and Furyk both shot an eight under 63 on Friday at the TPC Boston.

What the headlines aren't telling you is that 62 other players are under par as well.

Yes that is correct, a total of 64 PGA Tour Pros are at -1 or better.

I have never played at the TPC Boston but it appears to be quite easy.

Here is a possible scenario, winner on Sunday shoots a tournament total of -27.

I think we need to put some defense in place here or something, just a little something to make it more challenging for these guys.

How about we bring in some guys from other sports and make it a real fun day.

Seeing that we are in Boston, bring in a couple of New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Have the Patriot's outside linebackers rush the players while they are at the tee.

Get the ball off or get sacked for a one stroke penalty.

Have Kevin Youklis and JD Drew standing in the first cut off the green swinging bats at the shots that are coming in. If they knock your ball back with a solo shot you have to play it from where it lies.

See, we could liven things up a bit.

These guys are having their way with this course like a drunk high school girl and we need some New England style defense to make it a little more enjoyable.
