Welcome Back Alex Rodriguez.

Rain ManCorrespondent IMay 22, 2008

In two games, Alex Rodriguez has hit two home runs. He should have had three, but the umpires incorrectly ruled it an RBI double, when it was clearly outta here. Oh well, he went three for four last night with a home run, double, two RBI, and two runs. On May 20th, his first game since he was sidelined with a quad injury, which was a 12-2 Baltimore Orioles win, A-Rod went 1-3 with a HR and two RBI.

A right quadriceps injury in late April kept him out of action for about a month. He was on the 15 day DL, but the New Yankees were cautious about him. Now if they get Jorge Posada back, watch out!

Speaking of getting hurt, Derek Jeter has been getting a pounding lately. He left the game on May 20th, after getting beaned in the wrist by a pitch. He's lucky he isn't on the DL.
