As of right now, the Atlanta Braves' playoff hopes are looking thinner and thinner each day. They currently stand at 70-64, and are 8.5 GB the Phillies in the NL East, and 4 GB the Rockies in the Wild Card.
They are looking to take a crucial series from the Reds, who are a young team, but have some firepower in that offense.
With a very makable schedule from here, a playoff berth is not completely unrealistic. The toughest series' from here are three with St.Louis, Philadelphia, and the Marlins.
If they can beat the teams that they are supposed to, and stay competitive with the good teams this month, they have a good shot at the playoffs. They just have to rely on the Rockies and Giants to lose a few games.
Watch out for the Braves to really make their push this month.
