9/4 - According to the Associated Press, LeGarette Blount will be suspended for the entire 2009-2010 NCAA football season due to assault of an opposing player.

This being Blount's senior year, means that his collegiate career is over. His NFL draft options are greatly diminished by this incident.

Leading up the game, Blount told Sports Illustrated that Oregon owed Boise State "an ass-whupping." During the game, Blount was held to -5 yards rushing.

Byron Hout, second year defensive end for Boise State, spoke a few words with Blount after the game. Blount waited till he finished and in a cowardly manner punched him in the face with a right cross.

Blount then proceeded to attempt to assault fans as they were leaving.
