When planning your wedding proposal, does Carl Edwards cross your mind?

Probably not with your average person, but Phillip Pruzensky is not your average person.

When Pruzensky, a huge Edwards fan, decided to propose to his girlfriend, another giant Edwards fan, he enlisted the help of the driver. Before the proposal, Edwards revealed a painted message on the back of his No. 99 car. "Janice, will you marry me? Phillip."

Edwards came to be of service through the "Say Yes To A Winning Proposal" contest, in which couples made arguments why they deserved a free trip to the Sprint All-Star Race as well as Janice's new ring.

Even though Edwards is known to have quite a few female fans, it is surprising just how much involvement he has in the romance business.

Edwards is sponsored by Harlequin, which makes some of the country's most popular romance novels. In fact, Harlequin has been working with Edwards and NASCAR for three years to write romance novels.

A NASCAR romance novel, co-written by Carl Edwards—It may seem like a joke, but it's soon to be a reality.

Janice said yes, but would you want Carl Edwards to be a part of your proposal?
