Per a RealGM Wiretap Update the Clippers have extended a contract to veteran point guard Carlos Arroyo on Thursday.

Arroyo, 30, has seven years of NBA experience under his belt and could be a solid addition to the Clippers bench, behind star Baron Davis, and alongside Sebastian Telfair. Along with that, the Clippers will more then likely pull out of the chase, well, wait and see game with Ramon Sessions, leaving the Knicks to be the lone candidate for the young guard.

In related Clipper news, the Memphis Grizzlies have given an offer to ex-Clipper guard, Mike Taylor, who spent his rookie season with the Clippers and had quite a few highlights.
