Carolina Panthers' Safety Nate Salley was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, due to another knee injury. This is the second time in the last three seasons that Salley was out for an entire season with a knee injury.

Salley has been sidelined since the first week of training camp, and was limited to conditioning work on the stationary bicycles.

Salley was drafted in 2006 from Ohio State, which was the same college that veteran cornerback Chris Gamble attended.
