It took the NFL Hall-of-Fame, what seemed like, decades to erase a long overdue mistake, now it's time for them to erase another long overdue mistake...the induction of Drew Pearson into the Hall-of-Fame.
Like Bob Hayes, Pearson has not been without his troubles, but his numbers alone put him ahead of Lynn Swann as the best receiver during the 70's. That in itself should be enough to get this guy into Canton, Ohio.
But sadly, it hasn't.
Pearson like Hayes has been repeatedly snubbed from his rightful place inthe Hall-of-Fame.
Don't wait until he is gone before you induct him. Don't do to him what you did to Hayes and rob him and his family of their chance to see him stand up there and take his rightful place among all of the other Dallas Cowboys' all-time greats, who have gone in ahead of him.
Let the man have his place, he certainly deserves it.
