Yesterday, the Mets dropped not one, but TWO games to the Atlanta Braves, at Turner Field after taking two from the Yankees this weekend.

No boxscore is going to be posted, just take my word for it, it was ugly.

I love playing at Turner Field, and I really think all Met fans do...this is absolutely RIDICULOUS! INEXCUSABLE! Are you kidding me!? I AM OUTRAGED! WE PLAY GOOD, CRISP, CLEAN, BASEBALL IN THE BRONX, AND SWING THE BATS! GO TO ATLANTA, FACE 98 YEAR OLD TOM GLAVINE, AND HE SHUTS US DOWN, AND THEN WE GET SHUT DOWN BY SOME ROOKIE RELIEVER (Jorge Campillo) MAKING A SPOT START!? IS THIS A JOKE? HONESTLY, NEW YORK METS, IS THIS A JOKE...

I cannot even explain how mad I am, because now we are in 4th place, and the embarrassing part about our division, the "strongest division in baseball" is that the 4th place team is 2.5 games out and a game over .500...great...so the first team to decide to go 6 games above .500 wins the division...

SO, let us recap the debacle that has become the New York Mess in the past few years: BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL and we get knocked out of the playoffs by a 83-win St. Louis Cardinals team

We, as fans, all say, 'ah, so close, NEXT YEAR is our year', and the sad part? WE BELIEVED THAT! So, 2007 comes and goes, we blow lead after lead after lead, and BANG, Phillies win division.

We get Johan Santana this winter, we make 'the big blockbuster deal', the deal that is going to make everyone 'forge' "THE COLLAPSE".

So far, NOT HAPPENING! And here is the icing on yesterday's cake of crap: the most consistent player this season, Ryan Church, was mildly concussed breaking up a double play ball that ended the game. good. GREAT! So, now, we have ONE hitter in the batting order batting above .300...oh...right, he hits 8th...good job Brian Schneider, you really are an example for everyone, keep up the good work because you are now the only player I have confidence in when you bat...

This needs to stop. NOW. I have had enough. Play baseball, and start now, or trust me, Citi Field will not be a happy place next season
