In his Insider blog today, ESPN's Adam Schefter notes that Atlanta will head into the season with the league's youngest defense.

Of course, last season the Falcons started a rookie at quarterback, and things seemed to work out. And in a move to help that defense, today the team traded for cornerback Tye Hill.

Of course, Schefter would remind,

"Seven of the Falcons' eight draft picks this season were on defense, a sure sign the team knows it needs to get younger and better."

The move for Hill will help -- if he can stay healthy, something he hasn't accomplished over the last two seasons.

We checked in with Football Outsiders for some added perspective.

If Folcans going in this defensive path, they may be the hardest and youngest defensive to face.
