Johnny Benson Will Join Speed TV's Announcing Crew for Three Races

Johnny Benson, the reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion, will join the Speed TV crew for three races.

He will be in the booth announcing the race with Rick Allen and Phil Parsons.

Michael Waltrip has a conflict with his NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule and announcing the next three truck races.

So Benson, who is still mending from a June wreck at Berlin Raceway during a Supermodified race, will fill in as an analyst.

Benson will be announcing the following three races:

Sept. 5: Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway

Sept. 12: Copart 200 at Gateway International Raceway

Sept. 26: Qwik Liner Las Vegas 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

This is exciting news; it will be cool to see JB in the booth and I wish it was so for all the remaining races.
